How to create a course

  1. Login to your PS Admin Account

  2. From left nav. menu --> setup--> school

3. From Scheduling go to courses

4. Click in new course

5. Fill in the following (You can open an old course of the same category to have the same setup)

a. Course name

b. Course Number (Kindly check any old course to know your school formula)

c. Available School year

d. Credit hours

e. Maximum Credit hours

f. Credit Type

g. Default Maximum Enrollment (usually we use 25)

h. Department (Click on associate and choose the department)

i. Grade Scale

j. Exclude from GPA? (depending on course)

k. Exclude from Class Rank? (depending on course)

l. Exclude from Honor Roll? (depending on course)

m.Exclude On Report Cards/Transcripts (Check if you don't want to show on report cards or stored grades)

6. Submit
